Britain's leader will push supporting countries to supply Ukraine with further extended-range weaponry to strike enemy locations during a meeting in London on Friday.

Sir Keir will host Ukrainian President the Ukrainian head of state alongside the so-called "coalition of the willing", comprising more than 20 of Kyiv's partners who have committed to provide Ukraine defense assurances once hostilities pause is arranged.

Zelensky has been urging for weeks for additional extended-range systems from allied countries, a move that Moscow has warned would escalate the war.

The Ukrainian president is coming from Belgium, where he met EU leaders on yesterday requesting financial support.

"The sole individual participating in current hostilities who refuses to stop the war is President Putin," Sir Keir remarked.

The Prime Minister will also reveal that one hundred extra air defense systems will be supplied to Kyiv earlier than planned, as specified in a multi-billion pound agreement reached between Britain and the Ukrainian government in spring.

International Support

The Ukrainian president arrives after important international achievements this week: Washington's action to finally apply new measures against Moscow, and European countries deciding to support a Ukrainian budget hole.

The Prime Minister will urge delegates to expand the supply of extended-range systems following an effective operation on an industrial facility in the Russian city, Russia, using British-supplied Storm Shadow missiles.

Economic Talks

Britain's leader will confer with partner nations on how to take Moscow's energy exports from international trade.

They will also examine using blocked Russian resources to provide the Ukrainian government with economic assistance, though the proposal encountered insufficient agreement and regulatory obstacles at the EU conference on the previous day.

European nations stopped short of agreeing an initiative to use approximately €140 billion in seized Russian resources to monetarily assist the Ukrainian economy.

However, the leaders decided to assist with Kyiv's "financial needs" for the next two years.

The US also announced sanctions on Wednesday against the Russian two largest petroleum firms, the state-owned company and Lukoil Corporation, as part of efforts to apply economic pressure on Russia to commence hostility discussions.

Moscow initiated its comprehensive attack of Ukraine in early 2022. Russian troops at this time controls about 20% of Ukraine's soil, comprising the southern Crimea peninsular Russia annexed in the year 2014.
