In a unexpected crossover event that defies conventional forecasts, Ubisoft has revealed an virtual collaboration between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the acclaimed anime series Attack on Titan. The unusual Thanksgiving event runs from November 25 through December 22, providing free bonus story content for Shadows players.
Peculiar Mission Revealed
According to the formal release, "A strange meeting leads heroes Naoe and Yasuke into a original quest, where whispers of banned rituals and monstrous transformations echo through the darkness." The narrative introduces a "strangely attired woman named Ada" who charges the pair with venturing into the Crystal Cave—a important location from Attack on Titan—to save her friend from a secret group.
The questline concentrates on "bizarre tests and a fearsome enemy" and is accessible to all players who have unlocked the Yasuke character.
Familiar Places and Changes
The teaser features the Underground Chapel from Attack on Titan recreated as the Crystal Cave. This significant location was earlier where the Reiss royal family handed down the Founding Titan ability through generations. The trailer finishes with a powerful moment showing a character, presumably the captive, transforming into a Titan that towers over Naoe and Yasuke.

Players who finish the mission will receive an special katana alongside multiple artifacts secreted throughout the area in hidden chests. The update also features in-store Attack on Titan item packs, including:
